The Spectrum of Learning The Priory School Lincoln

Spectrum of Learning

The Lincolnshire School of Science of Technology

Spectrum of Learning was designed and constructed to form the entrance sculpture to the Lincolnshire School of Science and Technology. The sculpture is constructed in three parts, which together complete a circular form - this reflects the learning process, whereby the different elements of the curriculum blend together to produce one whole educational experience. In addition, different specific areas of the curriculum are incorporated into the glass motifs of the sculpture.

The sculpture is made in stainless steel and glass and stands 2.5M tall. An important element of its design is the use of light, which emphasises its different elements and the place of the sculpture as a welcome to the school.
