Gateway Project
Commissioned
by Asda supermarkets to mark the
entrance to their new store in
Greenhithe Kent.
'Sails'
reflects the historical, maritime
links of the area where the Cutty
Sark was built. Designed in stainless
steel and fibre optic lighting
it also connects with the emerging
role of the Thames Valley as a
new technology enterprise area.
8
metres tall in stainless steel
the piece will withstand the prevailing
high winds and martime conditions
of the local environment.
