Richard
has delivered
a broad range
of site specific
public art
projects. His
role is to work
with the major
stakeholders
in a project – users,
local communities,
other professionals
and the project
commissioners – to
develop sculptural
pieces which
have meaning
for the context
in which they
are to be placed
and which meet
the needs of
the site and
its potential
users. This
is achieved
through discussion/workshops,
observation
and working
with the local
community.
The
pieces are
designed with
durability,
low maintenance
and health
and safety
features
built in. Through
experience the
necessary project
management skills
have been developed
to ensure that
projects are
delivered on
time and within
budget, with
a range of budgets
from £5,000
to over £100,000. With
20 years
experience
as a sculptor
and site
specific artist
Richard has
a range of
skills to
contribute
to the successful
achievement
of your project,
particularly
those which
require Section
106 planning
permission
or require
the skills
of a lead
artist. He
is able
to work with
multi-disciplinary
teams to
achieve
successful
visual outcomes
and engage
and support
other artists
and contributors
to achieve
the overall
objectives
of the project. View
